Target recently announced that it will be launching 12-plus new exclusive brands. apart from having lots of brands availability at Target, the company saw an opportunity to set its “Only at Target” portfolio.
The categories will be in clothing, accessories and home. The company is refreshing its products to boost sales and compete with companies like Amazon. “When we took a close look at our existing assortment … we saw a disconnect,” said Mark Tritton in the company press release. He also mentioned, “As we’ve been creating these new brands, we’re thinking about the values we want to stand for 5, 10, 15 years down the line, so they’ll have real meaning and depth as we evolve. Everything we do is based not only on our guests’ needs today, but also where we see our brands forging a space tomorrow.”
Among 12 new exclusive brands, here are the four of the new, only-at-Target brands.
A New Day, a versatile, mix-and-match women’s brand—coming in September—will take you from weekend to work to dinner date, effortlessly—and have you feeling confident in your skin and in your wardrobe.
Goodfellow & Co is the modern-meets-classic line of men’s clothing, accessories and shoes—available in September.
This edgier and street fashion vibe brand JoyLab will be launching this October.
Project 62 is a modern day home brand will be set to launch this September in stores and on target.com
